Friends, I have loved the concept of this site and have appreciated the sweet words you have shared, letting me know that my writing has meant something to you. Life has given me many isolated nights through some insane trials. I plead with the Lord after my sister's death that my pain would find meaning in sharing with others who may feel they are alone; shining a light on our victor, Christ the King, and the work he does with our messes. That was the heart of this site. I had no idea that my children and I would walk through more dark valleys since my sister's passing.
It has been five years of writing, sharing, crying, and praying with you. I will leave this here while the service period exists, and let you know that I will no longer be sharing my works publicly. What I intended for good was used against me by someone I loved dearly and trusted with my whole heart. It has been a deep soulful violation to heal from, so my words will be for the Lord and I. I thought that I could continue to write under a new fun site name that felt like a God-inspired name, but I have no heart to risk harm of this nature once more. Evil is real, put on your spiritual armor (Ephesians 6:10-20). My sincere prayers for those who found comfort and encouragement in my words, is that God will meet you where you are and that sincere saints will come alongside you and lift you up. Be bold, share your trials, sit with the grieving. You never know when you might be speaking to the heart of someone about to give up and your courage to bear your vulnerability will be the light that carries them to a new day. Be aware that there will be some who may abuse your bold vulnerability, but as Christ knew the full depravity of man and still loved with his all, may we be willing to do also, trusting that a better day is coming when all will be made right.
"God is good, all the time. He put a song of hope in this heart of mine. God is good all the time. Through the darkest night, his light will shine. God is good. He's so good, all the time."
26 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.[a] 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?[b] And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:26-33
